Ashley was born two months early, weighing in at just over 3 pounds. The ICU was her place of residence for the duration of one month. She was informed by her parents at the time of the Christmas Day that she had to undergo heart surgery. The prayers were answered when Ashley's parents went to the hospital Christmas Day and were told by doctors that her heart had been shut. Ashley has never required any type of surgery. After being released, she went home with a weight of 4 1/2 pounds following being hospitalized two months. The girl is now in good health. She is of English, German and Irish heritage. Her mother's family is of Irish descent. Ashley's acting debut came in a commercial for the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley was approached first by Ford Modeling Agency when she reached the age of eight. Since then, she's been employed in the publishing industry and works with the Agency. Ashley wanted to become an actress at the young age of just 10. Ashley continued to work on 35 commercials and later into roles in the theatre. It was her main passion to act. Ashley focused her entire attention to acting. This left very little time for modeling or dancing, anymore. Ashley is well known for her character of Hannah Marin in ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley also had a cameo on Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and in Solange's music videos to promote her hit track "True love". Britney as well as Ashley participated in an Vogue Magazine Photo Shoot. The NLT singer appears in their music video "That Girl".
