Ashley was born two months earlier, weighing in at 2 pounds 8 oz. For a whole month, she was admitted to the ICU. Her parents at Christmas that this Day would be her day for heart surgery. As her parents visited for a visit on Christmas Day, they were advised by the doctor that her heart was closed. Ashley was never in need of any operations. After being released, she went home at 4 1/2 pounds after having been admitted to hospital for two months. She has been healthy ever since! Her father is of English and German origin. Her family's origins are from Ireland. Her acting debut was as Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was then scouted at 8 years old at the age of 8 by Ford Modeling Agency. Ashley has been steadily working for The Ford Modeling Agency for many years. When she was 10 Ashley decided to go into acting. Ashley was in the cast of 35 commercials. Then, she moved onto theatrical roles. Acting was now Ashley's passion. Ashley has given her complete focus to acting. Dancing and modeling are no longer a priority. Ashley is well known for her portrayal of Hannah Marin in ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars. Ashley was in Romeo Miller's (aka Lil Romeo), and also in Solange's "True Love" music video. Ashley shot a picture alongside Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. She is featured in the video for "That Girl" by NLT.
